Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Authentic Beijing-style copper hot pot with a nice traditional atmosphere. The broth is flavorful, and the quality of the lamb and beef is solid. The copper pot adds a unique experience compared to regular hot pot places. Service is attentive, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Prices are on the higher side, but the ingredients and dining experience justify it. It can get busy during peak hours, so making a reservation is recommended. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for traditional Northern Chinese hot pot in Flushing.

Amazing hot pot with rich, flavorful broth and very fresh ingredients. The live frog was incredibly fresh, and the beef and lamb neck cuts were so tender. I also loved the complimentary side dishes. Great service, authentic Beijing-style hot pot, and they’re open late. Highly recommend!

If you enjoy interactive dining, this Beijing hot pot restaurant is an excellent choice. The experience is just as important as the food. You choose your broth, order your favorite ingredients, and cook everything at your own pace. The quality of the meats was very good, and there was a nice selection of vegetables, seafood, tofu, mushrooms, and handmade noodles. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough for sharing. One thing I really appreciated was the attention to customer comfort. Before we were seated, the staff provided plastic bags for our jackets so they wouldn't absorb the hot pot aroma. It's a small detail, but it shows they think about the overall experience. The service was friendly and efficient. If it's your first visit, don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations on the broth, sauces, or popular menu items. They're happy to help. A few tips before you go: Weekends can be very busy, so making a reservation is a good idea. Street parking is limited, so allow a little extra time to find parking or use a nearby garage. Hot pot is best enjoyed with family or friends since you can order a variety of dishes to share. Overall, this is a great pl

Had an amazing dinner here! The ingredients were incredibly fresh—you can really taste the quality in the meats and vegetables. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. Our server was so attentive, constantly skimming the foam (oil) from the pot without us even asking. It’s rare to find a place that takes such good care of their customers. Highly recommend!
